Privacy Statement for Leyland Forum

Welcome to the registration page of the Leyland Forum, a message board for the people of Leyland Lancashire England. We hope you enjoy your time here.


IMPORTANT: In order to protect our members and keep out spammers, we ask you to provide a valid email address and to confirm your registration before being allowed to log in.

New members will not be able to use the forum email function until they have started posting messages.

By registering to use this forum, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated within this agreement.

You agree to accept full liability and responsibility for all content submitted by you or through your user name.

You agree that you will not post any copyrighted material for which you do not have the appropriate permission to do so.

Please ensure that your contributions to the forum are kept within the spirit of a friendly community. Please do not post any messages that are vulgar, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or that violate any laws. The forum administrators and moderators will move, remove or modify any content that they feel is unsuitable for this forum.

The forum administrators and moderators will suspend or delete any member, if they feel that the member in question has violated this agreement. This may also include the removal of all content submitted by the member to the forum.

Forum topics, unless stated otherwise, are not rigid and from time to time, may deviate from the original message. However, please keep on topic when requested to do so.

In order to use these forums, it is a requirement that users provide a user name, a forum password and a valid email address. Neither the administrators of these forums nor the participating moderators are responsible for the privacy practises of any user. Remember that all information disclosed becomes public and that you should exercise caution when deciding to share any of it. Any user who objects to material posted by another can contact the forum administrator by email, who will then act accordingly.

Grievances should be reported initially by email, not on the forum

This site may contain links to other web sites and files. We cannot, and do not guarantee that the content submitted to these forums will, or will not be found objectionable or offensive to any user.

These forums give users two options for changing and modifying information that they provide in their profile:

Users can login with their user name and password to change any information in their profile.
In case of lost password, users can use the "Forgot your password" link from the main menu. Alternatively, users can email the forum administrators for assistance.
